BASED IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA + WORLDWIDE •

Welcome to

What started as a childhood curiosity with a point-and-shoot camera has grown into a full-fledged creative house, founded on years of visual storytelling experience and shaped by a deep reverence for human connection.

Before forming The Lovers Archives, our founder spent years in the film industry in the camera department, working on major network productions like American Horror Story, Snowfall, and Atlanta for FX and Sony. That cinematic foundation laid the groundwork for our approach today, merging visual narrative with refined, editorial composition. We believe that a photograph should do more than document a moment; it should feel like it lived and breathed.

At The Lovers Archives, we don’t just show up to photograph a wedding. We arrive to witness, to connect, and to create. Our work is rooted in emotional storytelling, blending documentary-style authenticity with elevated fashion-inspired aesthetics. We favor honest moments over posed perfection, timeless elegance over fleeting trends.

Each couple’s love story is different, and we tailor our process to reflect that. From the first interaction to the final gallery, our approach is personal, effortless, and grounded in trust. We are more than a team. We are artists, partners, and sentimental souls drawn to the beauty in fleeting glances, quiet laughter, and the kind of love that lingers long after the day is done.

Inspired daily by our own families and the lives we’re privileged to document, we carry a quiet understanding that these images become part of something greater: your legacy. And we’re honored to archive it with honesty, artistry, and heart.

"You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved." —Ansel Adams

Contemporary with a hint of nostalgia.

At The Lovers Archives, we believe the true magic of film photography lies in its timeless aesthetic. There is a nostalgic warmth that film evokes, an emotional quality that digital simply cannot replicate. With its rich color depth, delicate texture, and natural ability to flatter skin tones, film creates imagery that feels both romantic and honest.

We only use the utmost highest-quality optics paired with legendary film cameras such as Hasselblad, Contax, and Pentax, each known for their craftsmanship and distinctive character. Our lenses include iconic German and Japanese glass from Carl Zeiss and other renowned makers, the same optics used to capture the world’s most famous actors, fashion editorials, and legendary album covers. These tools allow us to create imagery that not only looks cinematic but feels iconic.

Our galleries are thoughtfully curated with a signature blend of medium format film, 35mm film, and digital photography. This intentional mix allows us to preserve your story with authenticity, artistry, and depth.

YOUR WEDDING VISION FINDS ITS PERFECT FRAME

We couldn’t have imagined our day without The Lovers Archives. They were more than just photographers, they felt like friends who cared about every little moment. They captured things we didn’t even realize were happening, and when we got our photos back, we both cried. It’s like reliving our wedding every time we look at them. We feel so lucky to have found them.
